Recruiters.com is a platform where employers post their current staffing needs. A recruiter then picks up the job and starts looking for candidates for that position.
If the candidate successfully gets the job, the recruiter will get paid a commission fee. Depending on the job and location recruiters can earn up to $200-$1000 per placement!
What Kind of Jobs?
The jobs on this platform vary, but from what I can see you’ll be recruiting for some pretty high-level positions.
As you can see in this screenshot, in the left-hand column are some of the jobs that need to be filled. Loan Originator, Machine Operator, and Java Developer just to name a few on the list.
Each job has a specific location where the candidates need to be located. In the picture above, you can see the Machine Operator position is located in Billerica, Massachusetts.
That means your candidate would have to live in the same or surrounding area.
There are some remote positions on Recruiter.com you can fill but they go pretty fast. So you have to be quick when you see an opening.
What’s The Pay?
Since you’ll be a contract recruiter you will get paid a commission. Or better know as a placement fee.
The pay for each person you successfully land a job depends on the position. If you land a doctor a job you could look at a placement fee of $1000 or more.
Compared to if you land a Sales Agent a job it could be between $50-200 dollars.
The placement fee will be listed next to the job opening. So you’ll always know how much money you will make for that job.
Recruiter.com says that if your candidate gets the job for a direct-hire position, you’ll get paid the placement fee within 3 months of that candidate’s start date.
See, the client (employer) will have a probationary period that your candidate must adhere to in order for you to get paid. After that period you’ll receive your payment from Recruiter.com within 30 days of that date.
If you are staffing for a temporary position, you’ll get paid on a monthly basis for as long as that employee is working. Payment can take up to 4-6 weeks to receive.
How Do I Find Candidates
You can find candidates by using social media like Facebook groups or Linked In.
You can also choose to recruit for a job opening in your local area and put up flyers or local ads. Job boards are great for finding talent too!
The ways to find people looking for work are endless. However, I wouldn’t recommend using a paid job board until you get paid for your first placement.
Examples of paid job boards are sites like ZipRecruiter, Indeed, or Monster.

Honestly, I think one of the best parts of recruiting is changing someone’s life by helping them find work. It’s a great feeling to know you are impacting someone feed their family.
Another incredible reason to become a recruiter is the money! A good recruiter can make a killing from placements! It’s all about finding the right people and connecting them to the right opportunities.
